GP12U is a grade of Thermal Spray Powder produced by XTC Luoyang. The chemical composition is 88WC-12Co, made from fine Tungsten Carbide Powder and Co Powder by the process of agglomerated and sintered, which leads to the spherical form of the powder. The regular size is 15-45um, which is the most commonly used among this kind of composition.
This kind of HVOF Powder could be operated under the temperature up to 500°C could be applied by both HVOF and HVAF spray, forming an intensive Thermal Spray Coating with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, which allows the workpieces perform under humid environment and extends the service life. Also the fine tungsten carbide it uses offers the coating with fine microscopic structure with the porosity less than 1% and higher bonding strength of ≥70MPa.
