Kocks and PSM rolling line is one kind of three-roll technology was promoted as early as 1954, and in 1980 to PSB and RSB technology breakthrough, we now say KOCKS three-roll reducing sizing unit RSB is Germany FRIEDRICH KOCKS company developed in 1991 combined reducing sizing unit, because of its many advantages, it is rapidly promoted around the world. The RSB usually consists of four or five racks, but in special cases, more than three or six racks can be set up. The domestic Daye Special Steel and Shanghai Steel five plants introduced this new technology in 2001 and 2002 respectively (both 4). Xingcheng Special Steel (5) and Xiang Steel (5) also introduced three-roll RSB successively in 2006 and 2007, respectively, and its reducing and sizing process has two so-called sizing passes of up to 23% reduction and 6%~16% lower pressure reduction, and all passes are with passes. The unit is used as rod finishing mill or wire pre-finishing mill or large coil finishing mill for precision control rolling of special steel.
